The goal of the proposal is to train, assist and provide the special education teachers of the educational region of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico the necessary knowledge in mathematics, to help them strengthen their knowledge and skills as educators by improving the academic achievement of students.

Workshops
The workshops are designed in alignment by the standards and expectations of mathematics in the secondary level, established by the Department of Education of Puerto Rico. Each workshop will reinforce the skills developed by participants in courses, by applying them in teaching and assessment of students with disabilities.
SPECIAL PROJECT
Demonstrate the knowledge acquired by the participants in the courses and workshops offered during the proposal. Show the impact of these on the students they serve.
